Arkansas 76, Louisiana-Lafayette 63: Michael Qualls scored 16 points, including seven in the last six minutes, as the Razorbacks pulled away late for the home win.

Alandise Harris led Arkansas (2-0) with 19 points while Bobby Portis added 14. The Razorbacks connected on just 2-of-13 attempts from 3-point range.

Louisiana-Lafayette (2-1) was paced by Elfrid Payton's 27 points, though he committed nine turnovers. Shawn Long added 12 points and Elridge Moore chipped in 10 points and a team-high eight rebounds.

The Ragin' Cajuns led by as many as nine in the first half when Payton made two free throws with 11:09 to go. Arkansas rallied back though, using a 9-2 run to tie the game at 25 on Portis' dunk with 7:27 to go, then went up by one at half.

It was close throughout the second half, and Long put the Ragin' Cajuns ahead 60-59 with a layup with 6:09 to play. But the Razorbacks went on a 8-0 run over the next 3:21 to take control and finished on a 17-3 run.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Payton scored more than 20 points for the third time in three games this season, and finished four points short of his career-high total of 31. … The Razorbacks won their 16th straight game at Bud Walton Arena. … Arkansas leads the series 2-1.
