No. 7 Florida 64, Georgia 47: Scottie Wilbekin scored 17 points and the visiting Gators shook off a sluggish first half to win their seventh in a row.

Florida (15-2, 5-0 SEC) trailed 11-2 in the early moments and was down 27-24 at halftime, only the second time all season the Gators trailed at intermission. But a 24-4 run in the opening 12 minutes of the second half put the Gators comfortably in control.

Georgia (7-11, 1-4) shot 50 percent from the field in the opening half, capped by Kentavious Caldwell-Pope’s 3-pointer at the halftime buzzer. But the Bulldogs missed eight of their first nine second-half shots while Florida made eight of its first 15 shots after halftime.

Kenny Boynton added 14 points and Erik Murphy scored 13 points (all in the second half) for Florida, which outscored Georgia 40-20 in the second half.

Caldwell-Pope led the Bulldogs with 16 points. Georgia finished with 17 turnovers, losing for the fourth time in five games.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Georgia hit six 3-pointers in the first half, after shooting 1-for-10 from 3-point range in a 77-44 loss at Florida on Jan. 5. … The Gators trailed at the half on Dec. 22 at Kansas State before rallying to win. … Florida has won its five SEC games by an average of 24.8 points.
