Kentucky 75, Auburn 53: Sophomore forward Kyle Wiltjer scored 17 points to lead five Wildcats in double figures as Kentucky started a two-game road swing by downing the Tigers in SEC play.

The Wildcats (12-5, 3-1 SEC) received 12 points off the bench from Alex Poythress. Ryan Harrow and Archie Goodwin also finished with 12, while Nerlens Noel added 10 points and a game-high nine boards.

Auburn (8-9, 2-2) fell behind 30-25 at the half and was held scoreless from nine minutes into the second half until 7 1/2 remained. The Tigers shot 34.8 percent from the field, compared to 54.5 percent by Kentucky.

Auburn, which lost its second straight after two wins to start SEC play, was led by senior center Rob Chubb, who scored 14 and recorded a team-high seven rebounds. Frankie Sullivan added 12 points and Allen Payne scored 11.

The Tigers were 0-for-15 from 3-point range.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Harrow scored in double figures for the eighth straight game. … Kentucky leads the series 87-17, including 14 straight wins. … Wildcats coach John Calipari defeated his former player, Tiger coach Tony Barbee. Calipari coached Barbee from 1989-93 at Massachusetts.
