The Cardinals' forced three turnovers and limited the Panthers to three points on free throws in OT as Louisville (22-7, 11-5) pulled to within two games behind Pitt (25-4, 13-3) in the Big East with two games left.

Kuric, who had a layup blocked by Brad Wanamaker at the end of regulation, finished with 12 points. Peyton Siva had 14 points and Mike Marra finished with 11 for the Cardinals, who face Providence and West Virginia this week.

Wanamaker hit three tying jumpers in the final four regulation minutes and ended with 13 points, 12 rebounds and six assists for the Panthers, who have South Florida and Villanova remaining. Pitt's Gilbert Brown had a game-high 20 points, but missed a layup late in OT.

The Cardinals, who held Rutgers to 37 points Tuesday, clamped down on Pitt in grabbing a 31-22 halftime lead, keeping the Panthers without a field goal for a span of 11 minutes, 4 seconds in the first half.
