It’s hard to imagine wins coming any easier for Louisiana State than the one they got Wednesday.

The Tigers opened up a big lead, got everyone on the roster involved and cruised to a 78-36 victory over Centenary in a non-conference matchup at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

LSU (3-2) jumped to a 39-21 lead at the half, and outscored the Gentlemen 39-15 in the second half.

Andre Stringer led LSU with 16 points and Malcolm White scored 14. Eleven different players scored for the Tigers, who made 10 three-pointers.

Leo Davis led Centenary (0-6) with 10 points.

Centenary entered Wednesday having allowed an average of 85 points per game, and had lost to Memphis by 64 points earlier this season.
