Karl-Anthony Towns recorded his seventh double-double in the last eight games as the Minnesota Timberwolves earned a 138-119 win over the visiting Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday to extend their win streak to four games.

Towns poured in 25 points and 11 rebounds on 6-of-12 shooting to help the Timberwolves sweep the two-game season series with Milwaukee. Anthony Edwards also had 25 points, and D'Angelo Russell chipped in 16.

Minnesota took advantage of the Bucks' mistakes, scoring 21 points off turnovers. The Timberwolves were also lethal from distance, going 22 of 47 (46.8 percent) from 3-point range.

With Giannis Antetokounmpo sidelined due to knee soreness, Khris Middleton paced Milwaukee with 15 points and seven rebounds on 6-of-13 shooting. Brook Lopez and Pat Connaughton also supplied 15 points, Jrue Holiday tallied 14 and Grayson Allen contributed 13.

After Edwards hit a jumper with 3:53 left in the first quarter to take an 18-17 lead, the Bucks were never able to reclaim the lead for the remainder of the game.

Minnesota closed the first half on a 9-3 run to go into the break with a 12-point lead. Towns led all scorers with 17 points and nine rebounds after 24 minutes, and Edwards trailed close behind with 14 points. The bench played a major role, combining for 27 points.

The Timberwolves also made good on 13 of 16 free throw attempts (81.2 percent), while Milwaukee went to the charity stripe just six times.

Middleton and Allen each had 13 points for the Bucks, who cashed in on 11 3-pointers in the half. Holiday had 10 points, but Milwaukee got just 14 from its bench.

The lead would balloon to 22 by the start of the fourth quarter after Minnesota put together a 38-point third.

Both teams let it fly from behind the arc in the first quarter, combining for 11 3-pointers. Things also got heated late in the frame, as Patrick Beverly and George Hill were ejected after a physical altercation.
