Wizards 90, Bulls 86: John Wall stayed hot with 27 points, nine assists and eight rebounds as Washington won its eighth straight home game.

A.J. Price contributed 13 points off the bench for the Wizards, whose run at the Verizon Center is their longest since 2006-07, when they had a 10-game streak. Chicago fell a game behind fifth-place Atlanta in the Eastern Conference.

Carlos Boozer led five Bulls in double figures with 19 points and 12 rebounds. Chicago played its sixth straight game without center Joakim Noah (plantar fasciitis), its fifth straight without guard Marco Belinelli (abdomen) and lost guard Kirk Hinrich when he picked up two technical fouls late in a close game.

Price hit a pair of 3-pointers and Trevor Ariza added another as the Wizards built an 82-78 lead with less than five minutes remaining. Moments later, Hinrich was ejected arguing an offensive goaltending call on teammate Nazr Mohammed, but Wall made just one of the two free throws and Nate Robinson's 21-footer tied it at 84 with 2:05 left.

Price and Mohammed exchanged baskets before Nene found Emeka Okafor for a dunk with 45 ticks remaining that gave Washington the lead for good. Jimmy Butler missed on the other end and Ariza hit two free throws with eight seconds left to ice it.
