RAPTORS 116, ROCKETS 98: DeMar DeRozan had a game-high 23 points and Linas Kleiza scored 19 points off the bench to lead host Toronto to its fifth straight win at home over Houston.

Toronto scored a season-high in points and shot 59 percent from the field to finish its current homestand with a 2-2 record.

DeRozan led the way with 14 first-half points to give the Raptors a 58-46 lead at the break. Kleiza erupted for 12 points in the fourth quarter to hand Houston its fifth straight loss overall.

After Toronto built a 17-point lead early in the third quarter, Rockets rookie Chandler Parsons led Houston back, netting 10 points in the frame to close the gap to six. He had a team-high 19 points.

The Raptors went on an 18-2 run midway through the fourth quarter thanks to five straight points from Leandro Barbosa and some hot shooting from Kleiza down the stretch to put the game away.

Rockets Guard Kyle Lowry spent most of the second half in sweats on the sidelines with a towel draped over his head. He was feeling ill prior to the game and played only 24 minutes.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Raptors forward Andrea Bargnani didn’t play (calf strain). … The Rockets have been outrebounded in 11 of their last 12 games. … Houston made 37 of 44 free throw attempts. … DeRozan has scored 20 or more points in three straight games.
