Manu Ginobili scored 19 of his 23 points in the first half to lead the San Antonio Spurs to a 104-89 win over the visiting Utah Jazz on Saturday.

Ginobili made 9-of-10 field-goal attempts and had five first-half 3-pointers as San Antonio rebounded from Thursday’s 20-point loss to the Houston Rockets.

Al Jefferson had 21 points and 11 rebounds and Josh Howard scored 18 points for Utah.

The Jazz trailed 25-20 early in the second quarter before Ginobili scored 11 points and made three 3-pointers in a 2 1/2-minute span to give San Antonio a 12-point lead. Richard Jefferson’s 3-pointer boosted the Spurs’ lead to 45-28 with 5:26 remaining in the half.

Ginobili hit another 3-pointer later in the quarter to make it a 7-for-7 start from the field. San Antonio was 8-for-10 from 3-point range in the first half while taking a 54-39 lead.

DeJuan Blair finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds, Tony Parker had 14 points and eight assists and Tim Duncan had 12 points and nine rebounds for the Spurs.

San Antonio was 10-of-16 from 3-point range after going 2-for-17 in the loss to Houston.

Utah shot 37.1 percent from the field and was 2-of-16 from behind the arc.
