Nick Young scored 21 points and the Washington Wizards put on a third-quarter onslaught en route to ending a seven-game losing streak with a 108-75 victory over the visiting Charlotte Bobcats Monday.

The Wizards let by five at the half before Young drilled a three-pointer that started a 21-2 run which provided Washington a 71-47 lead. Charlotte didn’t make a field goal in the quarter and the first two minutes of the fourth.

Kirk Hinrich added 18 points and 11 assists for the Wizards, who played without John Wall (knee) for the fourth straight game and newcomer Rashard Lewis (inactive), who was acquired in a trade from Orlando for Gilbert Arenas Saturday.

Wall has missed 11 of the Wizards’ 26 games thus far.

Stephen Jackson scored 13 points for the Bobcats, who played without Gerald Wallace (ankle) for the third straight game and had their five-game win streak against Washington snapped.

Charlotte shot 56.3 percent (18-of-32) from the field in the first half and got 11 points from Jackson, but committed 10 of its 25 turnovers and grabbed just one offensive rebound to trail 50-45 going into the third quarter. The Wizards got 13 points from Young and outpointed the Bobcats 14-8 from the line.
