The Utah Jazz overcame their fifth consecutive double-digit deficit when Deron Williams hit a floater in the lane with eight-tenths of a second left to lift the visitors to a 96-95 victory over the stunned Charlotte Bobcats on Saturday.

The Bobcats scored the first 10 points of the game, led by as many as 19 in the first half and carried a 76-66 lead into the fourth quarter. But the Jazz closed on a 33-20 run over the final 11 1/2 minutes to win for the seventh time in eight games.

Utah set a shot clock era record by coming back to win three straight games after trailing by double digits at the half before rallying from an 11-point deficit Friday to beat the Atlanta Hawks.

Al Jefferson scored nine of his 19 points in the final 4 1/2 minutes to allow Williams to become the hero. Williams finished with 17 points and nine assists.

Nazr Mohammed had a season-high 22 points and a career high-tying 22 rebounds for Charlotte, which had its two game winning streak snapped and is the only team in the NBA without a home victory.

Stephen Jackson added 24 points and five 3-pointers for the Bobcats, who led 49-33 at the half.
