Second-year guard Jodie Meeks had a career-best contest with 26 points and seven 3-point baskets to lead the Philadelphia 76ers to a 109-91 victory over the visiting Charlotte Bobcats on Saturday.

Meeks was 7-of-10 from 3-point range during his second start of the season to help the 76ers improve to 6-14.

Boris Diaw scored 19 points and Stephen Jackson added 18 points for Charlotte (7-13).

Thaddeus Young added 20 points on 8-for-11 shooting for Philadelphia, which led by 16 points after the first quarter and led comfortably most of the game.

The 76ers made 11 3-point baskets and shot 51.9 percent from the field. Charlotte shot just 42.9 percent.

Elton Brand, Jrue Holiday and Andre Iguodala all added 15 points for Philadelphia. Brand had 10 rebounds while Holiday and Iguodala each had seven assists.

D.J. Augustin and Kwame Brown scored 12 points apiece for the Bobcats.
