Bryce Miller and three relievers combined on a one-hitter as the Seattle Mariners defeated the visiting Cincinnati Reds 5-1 Wednesday afternoon to complete a sweep of the interleague series.

Cal Raleigh, Mitch Garver and Josh Rojas hit solo home runs for the Mariners, who outscored Cincinnati 17-5 in the three games.

Elly De La Cruz went deep for the Reds' lone run and hit.

Miller (3-1) went six innings and allowed one hit, walked one and struck out seven. The right-hander won his third consecutive start, during which he has allowed one earned run on seven hits in 19 1/3 innings.

Trent Thornton, Gabe Speier and Austin Voth each pitched a hitless inning of relief.

Reds left-hander Andrew Abbott (1-2) put together a quality start, giving up two runs on four hits in six innings, with three walks and six strikeouts.

The Reds took an early lead with two outs in the top of the second inning when De La Cruz pulled a 1-0 slider on the lower inside corner of the plate over the right-field wall for his fifth home run of the season. Miller walked the next batter, Tyler Stephenson, but struck out Nick Martini to end the inning and retired the side in order in each of his final four frames.

The Mariners tied it in the bottom of the second as Raleigh went deep into Edgar's Cantina between the first and second decks down the left-field line with two outs.

Seattle broke the tie on Garver's blast with two outs in the sixth, which also landed in the same watering hole in left.

The Mariners pulled away with three runs in the seventh. Pinch-hitter Rojas greeted reliever Lucas Sims with a homer to right. Rookie Jonatan Clase walked and stole second. With one out, Mitch Haniger lined a run-scoring single to left to make it 4-1. Two-out walks to Garver and Ty France loaded the bases before Raleigh drew a base on balls to bring home the final run.
