Rain fell during the fifth inning before the Rogers Centre roof was fully closed.

Toronto scored once in the bottom of the fifth. Reese McGuire singled with one out, took second on a groundout and scored on Semien's single. There was a slight delay as the grounds crew worked on the pitching mound.

Brad Hand allowed Seby Zavala's RBI double and Anderson's RBI single in the sixth.
