Twins 4, Phillies 3: Clete Thomas went 4-for-4 with two RBIs and scored the go-ahead run on a wild pitch in the eighth inning as host Minnesota made it two straight wins over Philadelphia.

Oswaldo Arcia had three hits and scored three times, including the tying run in the eighth. Arcia led off with a double and was brought home on Thomas' double as the Twins sent the skidding Phillies to a season-worst fifth consecutive defeat.

Brian Duensing (2-1) retired both batters he faced in the eighth and Glen Perkins set down the side in order in the ninth for his 15th save. Twins starter Mike Pelfrey allowed three runs in a season-high seven innings and tied his season high with seven strikeouts.

Former Twin Ben Revere had three hits and an RBI for the Phillies, who squandered leads of 2-0 and 3-1 en route to their longest losing streak since last July.

Antonio Bastardo (2-2), the third of four relievers for the Phillies, allowed two runs on three hits in one-third of an inning.

GAME NOTEBOOK: It was the first career four-hit game for Thomas, who entered the contest batting .077. ... Phillies RHP Tyler Cloyd permitted one run on six hits in five innings. ... Phillies C Erik Kratz underwent surgery Wednesday to repair a torn medial meniscus in his left knee and is expected to be sidelined six to eight weeks.
