Rangers 10, White Sox 6:
Yu Darvish struck out nine in six innings and Mitch Moreland had three hits as host Texas outslugged Chicago.

Nelson Cruz and Jeff Baker hit back-to-back homers in the fourth inning and Adrian Beltre hit a two-run shot in the sixth as the Rangers snapped a two-game losing streak. Darvish (5-1) allowed four runs and seven hits to become the sixth pitcher in Texas history to record five wins in April.

Darvish gave up a two-run homer to Dewayne Wise in the sixth to tie the score at 4 before Texas went ahead to stay on Moreland’s one-out double in the bottom of the inning. Kinsler added a run-scoring single later in the six-run uprising that featured a disastrous three-pitch stretch for White Sox reliever Nate Jones.

Beltre came up the bases loaded and Jones threw back-to-back wild pitches to plate two runs. Beltre pounded the next pitch well over the left-field fence to make it 10-4.

Wise went 4-for-4 and Adam Dunn also homered for the White Sox, who have lost three straight games and seven of their last 10. Chicago starter Carlos Quintana allowed four runs and eight hits in five innings before giving way to Matt Lindstrom (1-2).

GAME NOTEBOOK: Rangers C A.J. Pierzynski (oblique) missed the contest against his former club and will likely sit out Wednesday. … White Sox INF Jeff Keppinger (back) was held out for the fourth straight contest. … Chicago acquired OF Casper Wells from Oakland for cash considerations.
