Dodgers 5, Marlins 0:
Chris Capuano took a no-hitter into the seventh inning and Hanley Ramirez drove in three more runs against his former team as visiting Los Angeles claimed the series from Miami.

Jose Reyes lined a clean single up the middle with one out in the seventh to break up Capuano's no-hit bid. He struck out 10 and allowed just two hits over eight scoreless innings to win for the first time since July 21 and just the second since improving to 9-2 on June 23.

Capuano (11-8) did not allow a runner to reach second base. Jamey Wright finished off the two-hitter with a 1-2-3 ninth.

Marlins left-hander Wade LeBlanc (1-2) was nearly as good, allowing one run on six hits over seven innings. But he got into trouble in the third, allowing consecutive singles by Capuano, Shane Victorino and Mark Ellis to load the bases with no outs.

LeBlanc was able to limit the damage, but Ramirez's sacrifice fly with one out pushed across the decisive run.

Ramirez added two more RBIs - his fourth and fifth of the series and the 499th and 500th of his career - on a single off Heath Bell in the four-run eighth. Andre Ethier and Luis Cruz also drove in runs for the Dodgers, who remained a game behind San Francisco in the National League West.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Ramirez finished the series 6-for-13. He has 18 RBIs in 17 games with the Dodgers after driving in 48 runs in 93 games with Miami before the trade. … Capuano hit double digits in strikeouts for the fifth time in his career and the second this season. … The last Dodgers no-hitter came Sept. 17, 1996, when Hideo Nomo held Colorado hitless at Coors Field. Capuano was the first Dodgers pitcher in the past two seasons to go at least six innings without allowing a hit. … The Marlins were last no-hit in Roy Halladay's perfect game on May 29, 2010. … Miami utilityman Emilio Bonifacio will begin a rehab assignment at Class A Jupiter on Wednesday and expects to rejoin the Marlins next weekend in Colorado.
